The Facebook unveil was just recently a new and innovative idea. Now it seems like every fifth car is unveiled via the social network. Mercedes has decided to jump on this band wagon and is streaming the unveiling of the 2013 SL-class to their followers on January 9th at 9:55 PM EST.
The new SL will feature the obligatory mess of new luxury gadgets like Magic Sky Control (electro-chromatic glass) and windshield wipers that excrete warmed washer fluid. What's more important to the enthusiast is the torquey twin-turbo V8 and the fact that the 2013 SL is a whopping 308lbs lighter than the out-going model. Sport Leicht indeed! It's good to see the SL resembling its namesake once more.
