Kansas City Chiefs To Keep Romeo Crennel as Head Coach

He already has the players' support.

The Kansas City Chiefs reviewed ex-Jacksonville coach Jack del Rio, ex-Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher, and Green Bay offensive coordinator Joe Philbin, but at the end of the day, their man was right in front of them. The Chiefs will keep interim coach Romeo Crennel, who pushed K.C. to a 2-1 record to end the season by winning two big games against the Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos.

Despite Crennel's unimpressive 24-40 record with the Browns, he seems the most natural fit with the Chiefs, as he has already developed full support from his players. He is also much more cordial with general manager Scott Pioli than Todd Haley ever was. With Jamaal Charles and Matt Cassel back next year, do you guys think the Chiefs can win the division under Crennel?
