Yes, you read that correctly. Not Ford, Chevy, Honda, or any other company. Of all other automotive companies, Hyundai had the best retention rate in 2011 in the U.S. at 64 percent, up from 60 percent in 2010. Last year's top retainers, Honda and Ford, tied for second at 60 percent. Jeep made the most notable leap, gaining 17 percent and landing at 51 percent. So, why Hyundai you ask? The answer seems pretty clear to us: America's perception of the Korean company has drastically improved with their unbeatable warranties, dependable vehicles, and expansion of new, more attractive models.
