Video: The Biggest Sports Fails of the Weekend

An awkward acceptance speech, Tebow takes a record-setting sack, and electroshock soccer.

The good 'ol slip of the tongue. Pause. You see, at any moment, we can all become the butt of a joke or the embarrassed person in a group of many. In this edition of Video: The Biggest Sports Fails of the Weekend, we take a look at the athletes that experienced some discomfort over the things they said. From the Rams' Harvey Dahl getting caught dropping the f-bomb over the referee's mic to a high school player thanking his teammate for "holding his balls," these people fell victim to speaking their mind and now they need a rock to hide under as soon as possible.

Note to all referees: Don't call a penalty for holding on the Rams' Harvey Dahl while your mic is still on. He doesn't give a damn who listens to him vent his frustrations. Not even the fucking kids.

You can't blame a guy for trying to make something out of nothing, but at some point, Tim Tebow needed to cut his losses and not take a 29-yard sack. Hypothetical question: If Tebow threw the ball away and got called for intentional grounding, instead of getting sacked, would that have been a better option?

Sometimes, kickers don't tell their holders thank you enough. But Bakersfield High School junior Parker Campbell isn't one of those guys. During his acceptance speech, Campbell didn't forget to thank one teammate in particular for "holding his balls." Hey, football is a team game and it's good that dude found someone that could lend him a helping (cupped) hand.

A rather long clip but something definitely worth checking out. In an attempt to add some more entertainment to the sport of soccer, players attached dog training collars to their legs and at any moment, they could receive an electric shock. And we mean any moment. When they are about to score a goal? Check. Multiple times on a throw-in? Check. Any time.
