The Madden curse is real, y'all! Don't just take our word for it, though. Even Madden 12 cover boy Peyton Hillis—who got voted onto the cover by fans after his breakout 2010 NFL campaign—believes in it. After suffering through a nagging hamstring injury for most of the 2011 season, dealing with a PR nightmare after his agent reportedly told him to sit out a game because of strep throat, and exhibiting such a piss-poor attitude that his teammates actually had to have an intervention with him, the Browns running back definitely believes there's something to be said for the curse really existing.

"No doubt about it," he said recently. "Things haven't worked to my favor this year. There's a few things that happened that made me believe in curses. Ain't no doubt about it."

Another one bites the dust. Now, who wants to try their luck next and appear on the cover of Madden 13? The curse continues...
