The Clippers baffle us. On the one hand, they play in Los Angeles at the Staples Center and they should attract top-level talent every single year. On the other, they don't usually do that and, as a result, they've been historically terrible. Why? Well, the owner of the team has a lot to do with it. So does the success of the Lakers. But now that Chris Paul is coming to town to team up with Blake Griffin, the Clips should be pretty fuckin' good—and a rivalry should be born between them and the Lakers.
Yesterday, Kobe Bryant was asked his thoughts on a Clippers/Lakers rivalry. His answer: "It's about damn time!"
