Outback Bowl: Michigan State (10-3) vs. Georgia (10-3)

Tampa, Florida

Jan 2, 1 ET

Both lost in their respective championship games. I think this is one of those games that both teams are a little disappointed, so it’ll be interesting to see which team can shake the cobwebs and show up. Who is more dialed in, excited, and more willing to compete and prepare? It’s easy to lose a team in preparation during those two or three weeks. Players have exams, banquets, awards, and holidays, so it’s easy to slip up and lose focus. I think it’s definitely a challenge. Whatever team wants to gain more will usually win the game. You wonder who will be more enthralled after both teams came so close to really special years."

Taxslayer.com Gator Bowl: Ohio State (6-6) vs. Florida (6-6)

Jacksonville, Florida

Jan. 2, 1 ET

"Ohio State has had to deal with a lot of stuff lately with Terrelle Pryor and Jim Tressel. The interim coach goes 6-6 this season, and then they end up hiring Urban Meyer. The last time they met was in the 2007 National Championship, and that left a sour taste in their mouths after Florida dominated them. You have Florida fans that are upset with Urban Meyer, and then you have Ohio State fans that are excited about Meyer but really want to get back at Florida."
