After losing the best player in the league, the St. Louis Cardinals have a bit of a gap to fill in the middle of their lineup. They started that process by bolsering their outfield with a two-year, $26 million contract for former New York Met and San Francisco Giant Carlos Beltran. The deal does not have an option but does include a no-trade clause. In 142 games on the Mets and Giants last season, the 35-year-old hit .300 with 22 home runs, 84 RBIs, and 78 runs.
