Unlike millions of other people in this country, Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith is not a Tim Tebow fan. And during an appearance on the Dave Dameshek Football Program podcast earlier this week, he let it be known that he's not giving Tebow any credit for what he's done with the Broncos this season.

"I don't want to be one of those guys like everybody else saying, 'Oh, he's not this,' he's winning," Smith said. "At the end of the day, you can't be 3-for-10 [passing] for three quarters and you go into the fourth quarter. Because Tim Tebow is 'Tebow Time' I keep hearing, but nobody is giving credit to who deserves it, which is that defense because it's playing lights out."

Of course, Steve Smith being Steve Smith, he didn't stop there, either. He also got super honest and took one final parting shot at Tebow before he left.

"Everybody wants to say Tim Tebow is that difference maker," Smith said. "He wouldn't be on my son's flag football team."

Wow. Love him or hate him, isn't this what's great about Tim Tebow right now? Some people say he's going to the Super Bowl this season. Other people say they wouldn't pick him up for a flag football team. And both sides are convinced that they're right. So the debate rages on...
