WTF? A Major League Baseball Player Got Kidnapped In Venezuela Last Night

Here in America, we have a lot of different forms of crime to worry about. Fortunately, kidnapping isn't typically one of them. Sure, it happens. But it's not described as "a growing industry" like it is down in Venezuela. That's where Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos is from. According to his Venezuelan winter league team, Ramos was at home in Venezuela on Wednesday night when four armed men stormed his home, carried him out of the house, and sped away in a vehicle. There's no word on what they want from Ramos or his family—though, we'd guess that money is going to play a part in it—but all we can say now is...Wow. That's what's up down in Venezuela?
