The Volvo XC90 has been a rarity in that it has aesthetically changed very little over the past decade. The new overhauled model is expected to be released in 2014, a long-overdue date for a vehicle that's getting pretty stale. The Swedish company released these four sketches that show what the next generation might bring. Following the green crowd, Volvo has stated that it will be phasing out any engines bigger than a four-cylinder over the next 10 years, so expect this XC90 to run on a smaller forced-induction engine. Don't be surprised if we see a hybrid on the way either.
