Fight: Billy Collins Jr. vs. Luis Resto
In what seemed like a surprising victory, Luis Resto beat undefeated Billy Collins Jr. mercilessly for 10 rounds. However, during post-fight handshakes Luis Resto who was found to be wearing illegal thinly-padded gloves. The discovery was made in the ring by Collins' father, who notified the commissioner. Resto and his trainer were later convicted of assault among other charges and sentenced to two and a half years. Collins suffered permanent eye damage and he was never able to box again. Less than year later, he ran his car into a ditch, killing himself instantly. R.I.P.
