In past years, if you wanted an Italian performance car in the United States, you would need over $100k. As of now, that number will be much, much smaller.

In other good news, the Fiat 500 (or if you prefer, cinqecento) Abarth is going to feature the full strength 160 horsepower engine, not the less inspiring 135hp powerplant seen in the car elsewhere. Sure, 160 horses doesn't seem like all that much, but you should remember this: you've probably had pimples bigger than this car. 

In addition, the 500 Abarth is equipped with 16 or 17 inch wheels, vented brake rotors, stiffer suspension, lower ride height, and Frequency Selecting Damping. Just by looking at it you can tell that this isn't the same car you'd see JLo in; this is something special.
