There are a lot of NBA players out there who are frustrated with the NBA lockout. And, understandably so. After all, players can't even afford to hire an escort for the night right now! So, of course they're not gonna be happy. But DeShawn Stevenson sounded like he was in a particularly foul mood recently when he spoke with Yahoo! Sports about the lockout and decided to ether Billy Hunter.
"For me, personally, I don't think there will be a season," D-Steve said. "Right now, there is just a lot of bad blood and [the owners] keep putting offers out that we're rejecting. So we're not going anywhere...I felt like we should have decertified in July. I feel like Billy Hunter is doing a horrible job because basically now [the owners] know our hand. The media knows our hand. The owners know our hand."
Damn. So now it's Hunter's fault that the players voted against the owner's latest proposal and that Hunter reported that back to the owners? Ah, well. Whatever. It's just good to see that, lockout or no lockout, DeShawn Stevenson still knows how to keep us entertained.
