How did we let a solid candidate for save of the year slip through our radar? During Wednesday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, New Jersey's Martin Brodeur made the type of save that goalies around the world could only dream of making. In a perfectly set up play, Phil Kessel of the Maple Leafs had a wide open net with only Brodeur's stick standing in the way. Somehow though, Brody was still able to stop the puck from passing. Hey Kessel, we would probably try to laugh it off too. It beats trying to punch out someone on the opposing team. [via Total Pro Sports]
