Most undefeated NFL teams don't like to talk about being undefeated. So even if they're 13-0 and almost there, they use tired cliches like, "We're just taking things one game at a time," to downplay their run at history. The Green Bay Packers are apparently not going to do that. During an interview earlier this week, Packers cornerback Charles Woodson even admitted that the Packers are thinking about making an undefeated run and invited Yahoo! Sports scribe Michael Silver to talk to him about it.

"We can talk about it," Woodson said. "I don't care. We're 8-0. We'd love to be 16-0—love to. It's a realistic conversation now. We're halfway there. So yeah, let's talk about it...I'd love to go undefeated. I'd absolutely love to. Not just the regular season—the whole thing."

Props to him. It's good to hear a athlete talking about what he actually feels, as opposed to what he thinks he should feel. Now, if they go undefeated, we'll all know that Woodson enjoyed it, instead of walking around on egg shells for two months while reporters asked him about it. And, if they don't do it? Well, it was fun while it lasted. It should be interesting to watch either way.
