We've certainly heard (and used!) our fair share of excuses in the past. But this particular excuse definitely beats them all. On Monday afternoon, University of Louisville head football coach Charlie Strong was asked why his team couldn't come through against the University of Pittsburgh on Saturday in the team's 21-14 loss. His excuse? His guys spent last week focused on playing the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 game instead of focused on their playbooks.

"It's young people," Strong said during a press conference. "That's what we're dealing with. We're dealing with young guys who, all of a sudden, there's something new and they want to try it and it engulfs them."

LMAO. How much you wanna bet the University of Alabama coaches just slipped a copy of MW3 in the mail for every single player on the Oklahoma State University team? Now that is what we call modern warfare.
