The McLaren MP4-12C Unveiled At Eighth Annual Scarsdale Concours d’Elegance

This is the McLaren MP4-12C, and if you were in Scarsdale yesterday you might have had a chance to see it up close.

Created by Evan Cygler and Denis O’Leary III in 2003 the Scarsdale Concours d’Elegance, now in it's 8th year, took place yesterday drawing over 100 antique-car participants. Raising money for local charities, the event is a showcase competition of pristine condition automobiles. Some of this year's winners included a 1950 Abarth 205 (taking the Best in Show title), 1970 Lamborghini Miura (Best Super Car), and a 1962 Gaz Volga (Most Unique). Of course, the real highlight of the show was the NY State debut of the McLaren MP4-12C. The ride made an appearance at the show courtesy of Miller Motorcars, one of the event's longest sponsors.
