The 10 Most Ridiculous Sports Tweets of the Week

The NBA lockout dominated Twitter this week as players took to the tweets to let fans know we're still appreciated. Many fans weren't trying to hear that shit. Carmelo Anthony battled off crazed fanboys when he tried to apologize for the lockout and Steve Nash was keeping it 100 as he tried to explain the situation. LeBron flirted with the prospect of the NFL and Pete Carroll wasted no time in recruiting him. Colts kicker Pat McAfee chimed in on the NBA as well, while Rangers ace C.J. We doubt the "King" will risk injury and join the Shield, but we're pretty confident that he'll be at the very least decent. Let's not forget that James was an All-American tight end in high school.

Fans have been unfairly blaming the players for the lockout, but they don't realize that the players aren't on strike. Complex Says: Apparently, Tracy made a little jokey joke about Greece. On October 4th, he said, "I could buy that country w/ my blk card," on twitter and people were absolutely killing him. This was a response to a fella that questioned T-Mac's philanthropic integrity. Damn, we guess he really did try to buy Greece. He clearly did not buy an advanced spellcheck for his iPhone though.
