Have you ever wished a gas pump was prettier? If you answered "no" you're a normal person. If you answered "yes" you're Elon Musk.
Tesla Motors is refusing to use the recently adopted J1772 universal car charging plug because Musk doesn't like it. He says that Tesla's charger is "a beautiful advanced alien artifact that arrived in the middle of the night." We say we want some of what he's smoking.
Because he really just likes to make a stink, not a stand, the Model S will come with a J1772 adapter.
