Nissan, formerly Datsun, has announced that it will continue to be known as Nissan, but resume selling cars badged as Datsuns. Now that you're thoroughly confused, just think about it this way: Datsun will be Nissan's budget brand. While the Datsun brand will be targeted at emerging markets initially, we can hope for a cheap, stripped out version of the Z someday... right?
