NBA Players React to Game Cancellations on Twitter

It seems that as the NBA labor talks have heated up, with both sides separating farther and farther apart. As of yesterday, commissioner David Stern announced that the first two weeks of the season have been erased without the opportunity to make the games up. Although many people see two equally greedy parties fighting for more money, the NBA players are trying their hardest to convince people that the owners are the bad guys here.

Let Us Play

Before the news broke, Derek Fisher helped to organize the "Let Us Play" campaign for the players. Several players tweeted the message before, during, and after David Stern's announcement, and have continually asked fans to tweet and retweet to help spread the word.
