If you've ever seen Robert DeNiro's Raging Bull, you already know that some boxers subscribe to the theory that you shouldn't have sex in the weeks leading up to big fights. The thought is that sex causes you to "lose your legs" once you step inside of the ring. Apparently, Manny Pacquiao is one of the boxers who follows this protocol.

"We've talked to doctors about it," Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach told Playboy in a feature on the boxer in their November 2011 issue. "Sex lowers your testosterone, so you're not as mean. I ask my guys for 10 days [of abstinence]."

Not surprisingly, though, Pac Man takes things one step further by reportedly abstaining for three weeks before his fights. So if you see him in the streets before a big match, you might want to head in the other direction. [via Larry Brown Sports]
