Remember how everyone thought Redskins quarterback Rex Grossman was crazy back in August when he predicted that the 'Skins would win the NFC East? With the Eagles flying high at the time, the Cowboys appearing strong, and even the Giants looking like they'd be in the hunt for a playoff spot, most NFL analysts gave Washington absolutely no shot to win the East, let alone even come close to contending for it.

Fast-forward a couple months and Grossman isn't looking so crazy anymore. The Eagles stink so far and the Cowboys have thrown away two wins, while the Redskins and Giants have coasted to 3-1 records and a share of the division lead. So, of course, it's on to the next prediction for the 'Skins and, this time, it's running back Tim Hightower doing the talking. He thinks that now that the 'Skins clearly have the East wrapped up (LOL!) a trip to Indianapolis to play in Super Bowl XLVI is not out of the question.

"The fun will be in February," Hightower said earlier this week, "when you guys are interviewing us up in Indy. Very bold prediction. But I'm gonna stand by it."

Wow. If nothing else, these 'Skins players sure know how to make predictions, huh? [via Larry Brown Sports]
