A College Football Team Asks Fans to Stop Cursing So Damn Much During Home Games

Ayo, college kids: STFU!

None

The University of Wisconsin has a simple message for all the fans who pile into Camp Randall Stadium and unleash expletive-laden chants on opposing teams: STFU! After years of hearing the student section chant things like "Eat shit, fuck you!" (catchy, right?) and "You fucked up!" at visiting teams, the Badgers' athletic director Barry Alvarez and head coach Bret Bielema sent out a letter this week asking them to stop. Instead of using foul language, the letter asks them to stick to singing songs like "Build Me Up Buttercup" and "Jump Around" to intimidate opponents.

It's the thought that counts here and we applaud the Badgers for trying to keep Camp Randall clean. But, c'mon: Is a letter really going to get 80,000 drunk college kids to watch their mouths on Saturday afternoons? Um, %#@& no! [via Hot Clicks]
