Industrial designer Ron Arad put together this concept bike with wheels made of 18 strips of tempered steel bolted together for a softer, more comfortable ride. Apparently, having designed and produced the bike in just two weeks, the designer was surprised to find that it even rode at all. The bike can be taken for a test spin by guests of the W Hotel in Leicester Square in London and will be put up for auction with proceeds going to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
