When it comes to gruesome sports, nothing is seeing Mixed Martial Arts. Better yet, MMA is unfuckwitable. Word to Cudi. Seriously though, nothing is off limits in the octagon. Fighters have suffered all kinds of injuries including excessive bleeding, grapefruit-sized hematomas (WebMD.com, fam), crushed limbs, and a slew of other inconceivable wounds.
UFC 135: Jones vs. Rampage goes down this Saturday from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colo. And while we hope for a great match, most of us with sane minds would never wish for anything like the horrific sights we're about to show you. From well-known stars like Fedor and Brock Lesnar to newcomers you've never heard of, our list will prove that no one is safe in the cage. So, as you get ready for UFC 135, check out the Most Disturbing Photos in MMA History. We suggest you hold off on lunch till a little later...

Pic #11 is a fake. Amazing how people cannot tell a photoshopped pic from a legit pic these days.

"Benavidez put the guillotine choke on him and it was a wrap. We have no clue what that move is.." Really? No idea what one of the most common submissions in MMA is? Then why are you writing an article about the sport? Leave it to someone who bothered to inform themselves, you hacks.

The Marcus Davis pic is from after the Nate Diaz submission loss, not the Hardy decision loss.
YaMindRight September 22nd, 2011 at 09:14 PM
Actually, in the fight against Diaz it was Marcus Davis' right eye that saw severe swelling: http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2010/0828/mma_e_diaz12_576.jpg and http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2010/08/ultimate_fight.html In the fight against Dan Hardy (and the pic above) it was his left eye that got the brunt of the punishment. http://www.timesunion.com/mediaManager/?controllerName=image&action=get&id=1150604&width=628&height=471

I completely agree with Josh, Ralph Warner and Jose Martinez, if you guys have no idea what a gulliotine choke is then why are you even writing about anything that has to do with mma? Sure does make me want to more articles on this site with writers who have no idea about what they are writing about. I would have to put you guys in the douche bag category.

You have to have a degree in MMA knowledge to show pictures of nasty cuts now? They weren't writing down a pound for pound greatest fighter in the last decade list, they were writing an article on the nastiest cuts in MMA. And they made a good list, though I'd rank some cuts and breaks higher than others. Sure the writer might not be as knowledgeable as most of us about the sport but everyone is a new fan at some point so get off of his case. The count down was pretty much accurate and took me down memory lane as I saw most of these fights happen live, so thanks for the article Jose and Ralph. Let the MMA nerds bitch about the guillotine comment.

The writer is not a MMA fan. He just wants to collect a paycheck. #WhiteKidsLoveEcko

I find this incredibly difficult to masturbate watching these.
Mark Ecko is a Toy September 26th, 2011 at 02:33 AM
Fuck Mark Ecko, his clothing line, and this lousy magazine. Keep your hands off of MMA and stick to showing kids how to match their shoelaces with their underwear.
