There's something about asking questions to a person who's just been hit in the head a few dozen times that makes for great drama. The most recent example being Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Larry Merchant's heated exchange on Saturday which culminated with the 80-year-old journalist saying he'd kick Mayweather's ass if he were 50 years younger.

Does anybody follow boxing? One of the best post-fight interviews ever was David Diaz after his fight with Manny Pacquiao. "He was too fast. Fucker was too fast...He was so fucking fast, man. Fast, fast, fast. Fucking amazingly fast. I thought fucking Freddie was in there hitting me, too...I thought he had a knife with him, though. I thought he was cutting me up with a blade. He was fast; he was faster than what I expected..."
