Here's a New One: Barcelona Players Blame Sweaty Shirts for Poor Performance

As if the flopping wasn't bad enough in soccer, now players for Barcelona's championship team are complaining about the heavy weight of their new Nike jerseys. The Dri-FIT jerseys, which are not available for public purchase, are made out of recycled plastic. The players have made official complaints to Nike about the weight getting heavier throughout the game, even doubling in weight by halftime because of sweat absorbtion. Nike was unsure about the root of the problem, but assured the team it will be fixed within a few weeks. [via Sports Illustrated]
