In an interview with Motor Trend Porsche's CEO, Matthias Muller, made the statement that as long as people still want manual transmissions Porsche will offer them. That's very reassuring in these dark days when one can't even get a Ferrari or a Lamborghini with three pedals. The 911 is all about tradition so while the styling, weird engine placement, flat-six engine design, and such are busy not changing, the manual transmission will stick around too. It will just keep sprouting more gears. Get exited for the 2054 Porsche 911 with its 12-speed manual.
