If you've ever waited in line all night for a pair of Js, you're probably not too shocked to hear that, despite the fact that he retired almost a decade ago, Michael Jordan is still balling out of control. Forbes did the math recently and found that MJ's not just maintaining his bank account in his post-retirement days, he's actually adding to it. Significantly.

During his best days in the NBA, he made about $33 million for playing a single season of basketball. But according to Forbes, he raked in about $60 million over the course of the last year thanks to endorsement deals with Nike, Gatorade, Hanes, 2K Sports, and more. Oh, and he also has a stake in this little thing called the Jordan Brand, which now brings in about $1 billion a year with a fraction of that money going directly to His Airness.

Soooooo, yeah. Your favorite basketball player's favorite basketball player is still getting richer by the day. Not that that should surprise you or anything. [via Pro Basketball Talk]
