It may be a Land Rover, but Excite Rally Team's Evoque is sporting Beemer power. RaBe Race Cars put a 3.0L BMW Diesel six in there that develops a healthy 275 horse and 479 ft-lbs of torque. A ZF transmission has been mated to that and the whole thing rides on some specialized off-road racing suspension and tires.
These awesome looking Evoques will be piloted at Dakar by Martin Rowe, Andrew Coley, and John Hardy.
