The BMW Active Hybrid 5 will produce a very respectable 335 horsepower. However, the only fuel economy promise given is one of a "double-digit percentage increase" over the 335i. This would mean the Active Hybrid 5 would produce a respectable for a sport-sedan but poor for a hybrid 22mpg city and 31mpg highway. 60mph could be had in as little as 5.7 seconds though. Look for it in March of next year.
