The Volvo P1800 is one of the most beautiful cars ever made. From a design point of view it looks down on most other cars and it certainly looks down on every other Volvo. Volvo's engines have rarely been the stuff of legend, however, and the P1800's was simply adequate. However, in 1961 Aston Martin put a 2.5l DOHC four-pot in a P1800 as a prototype and that's just dead sexy.
The showing of this car will wrap up the P1800's 50th anniversary celebration at the TechnoClassica show in Essen this April.
