Two men were shot in the parking lot of Candlestick Park in San Francisco last night, immediately after the 49ers-Raiders preseason game held there. One of the victims, a 24-year-old, was taken to the hospital in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds to the stomach. Reports say he was wearing a "F*ck the 49ers" shirt. The other victim, also in his 20s, received superficial wounds to his face. A suspect, reportedly wearing Raiders apparel, was arrested at the scene. It's not clear whether the two shootings were related.

In addition, a 26-year-old man was beaten unconscious in a stadium restroom during the game. All of this comes on the heels of a San Francisco Giants fan being beaten into a coma at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles in April. Nothing more to say here, except this: To the sports fans whose lives are so pathetic that they go to games and beat up on other fans to fill some void in their existence: Your mom called. Dinner's ready, it's time to crawl back into your cave. [via SFGate.com]
