The Oakland Raiders have officially retired JaMarcus Russell's number! Okay, okay, so they did it about 20 years and 400 touchdowns earlier than they had planned, but rest easy, Raiders fans, because no one will ever wear the No. 2 for the Raiders again! At least, for now...

Over the weekend, Raiders coach Hue Jackson announced that he will not allow the team's supplemental draft pick Terrelle Pryor—who wore the No. 2 in college—to wear Russell's old No. 2 jersey. Apparently, Russell left such a bad impression with the Raiders that they don't want the thought of him (or his number!) on the field right now. Damn, dude. You haven't played for the Raiders in almost two years and you're still losing, huh? SMFH. [via Hot Clicks]
