Looks like Diddy's pitch worked. A few months ago, he tweeted out a link to a highlight reel of his son Justin Combs playing cornerback for his high school team at Iona Prep in New Rochelle, N.Y. As a result, Combs is currently fielding college football scholarships from the likes of the University of Illinois and the University of Virginia as well as UAB, Middle Tennessee State, and Wyoming.
"I talked to the coach at Illinois, and they told me that they were going to give me an offer," he said recently. "They seemed very excited. We talked about the academics, the football team, the campus, the life there, and stuff like that just so I could know a little bit about it. I am going to go out there and see the campus soon before my season."
Hmmm. We wonder what Diddy's gonna do with all the money he'll save on college tuition. Buy Justin another Maybach? Guess we'll have to wait and see... [via Off the Bench]
