In summer of 2009, DC Shoes teamed up with SE Racing to produce a fixed-gear version of their famed "PK Ripper" BMX bike. Despite the blown-up scale and track geometry, the frame retained all the characteristics of a classic PK — from the "Floval" (flat oval) alloy tubing, to the loopstay rear end, to the Landing Gear fork. It was set off by tubular chromoly cranks, Velocity rims, and a riser bar. Originally retailing for $1,000, the DC x SE was produced in extremely limited numbers — 1,250 each in either silver and blue or matte black. Well, if you missed out back then, here's your chance. Bikes Direct has a limited number available in most sizes for just $499.95. What are you waiting for?
