On September 4th the Chelsea Auto Legends Show will be giving bidders the opportunity to own not one, but two classic cars from cinema history. One is the rare "Panthermobile" form NBC's television series, Pink Panther which ran from 1969 to 1976. While it's condition is fair, it does not have a working engine and does in fact require some restoration. The Panthermobile's estimated worth is between $81,000 and$162,000.

Vehicle number two on the auctioin block next week is a replica of the car used in the 1968 film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Although not one of the originals from the film, the car which was built in 2000 employs some of the parts fom the original rides used on set. Under the hood is a 3.0-liter Ford V6 engine with a automatic Borg Warner transmission. The Chitty whip will go for something in the ballpark of $243,500-$406,000.

Both vehicles are considered street legal and come with authentic blueprints and/or documentation.
