Toyota Recalls...Again

First the Camry...now the Prius

None

Toyota just can’t get it right!  First, the Camrys make headlines with their unintended acceleration problem.  Now, the automaker is recalling 129,420 Prius and iQ cars globally.  The reason—defects in electric power-steering and brakes.

First sold in 1997, 105,784 first generation Prius cars are being recalled due to their faulty electric power-steering caused by a nut that may come loose. The silver lining?  Unlike the acceleration debacle, there has only been one reported minor accident related to this problem.

Regardless, it’s time for Toyota to get an image makeover because these recalls are not a good look.
