According to the General Services Administration, the number of luxury rides “owned by Uncle Sam almost doubled from 238 in 2008 (Bush’s last year in office) to 412 in 2010”. Most of them were bought by our superwoman, Hillary Clinton. Her State Department owns 259 limos!
Well, we can’t hate on the woman for wanting to ride in style. But critics are hating as they loudly voice their discontent for such extravagant purchases during an economic crisis, and we can't even blame them for feeling that way either. Officials defend the purchases stating the luxurious and armored rides are “needed to protect diplomats in an increasingly dangerous world”.
