Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Allegedly Had A Guy Beat Up For Asking Him About Manny Pacquiao

If nothing else, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. certainly knows how to keep his name in the news for everything except boxing. Most recently, it was reported that Mayweather is being sued by a 21-year-old man named Anthony Cliff who claims the boxer's bodyguards surrounded him at the Palms Casino in Sin City, forced him to the ground, slammed his head into it, and then kicked him repeatedly. His only transgression: Asking Mayweather when he'd accept a match against Manny Pacquiao.

"Not only does Mr. Cliff want to see a fight against Mr. Pacquiao, but so do many boxing fans," Cliff's lawyer said recently. "So, it was just a question."

A question we've been beating our heads against the wall trying to answer for years now. Who knew we could have (allegedly!) called Floyd Mayweather's bodyguards to help us!? [via ESPN]
