For some reason, the Phillie Phanatic was entertaining a minor league crowd in Allentown, Pennsylvania when a foul ball hit the mascot right in the throat, which probably meant the hit was right in line with the human being's face. The person inside the mascot outfit was sent to the hospital, treated for a contusion, and released soon afterwards. Good job playing up the injury, but that thing must've hurt like hell.
