Nike Asked Charles Barkley to Stop Throwing Shots At LeBron James

Yup, Sir Charles is still ethering the Miami Heat.

None

Throughout the NBA Playoffs, Charles Barkley has let his feelings for LeBron James and the Miami be known time and time (and time!) again. Last week, he said they complain too much. This week, Chuck reveals that after he criticized Bron-Bron for The Decision last summer, Nike gave him a call to ask why he was being so hard on him. He also said that neither LBJ nor Dwyane Wade have talked to him during the playoffs.

"These athletes today are all wussified," he said. "I've been saying LeBron's the best player in the league for three years. And I say one thing criticizing The Decision, and I get a phone call from Nike saying why don't I like LeBron? It's interesting how this [expletive] works. These groups today, if you don't say 100 percent positive about their guy or their team, they overreact." If you're keeping score at home, it's now: Barkley 17, Heat 0. Stay low and keep firin', Chuck! [via Miami Herald]
