Texas plays by its own rules, and we love it. Especially now that the state can officially boast the nation's fastest speed limit. (Not to be confused with Montana's suggested speed limits.) The state's House of Representatives has officially passed a transportation bill that will up the maximum speed limit to 85mph.

Highway cowboys, don't go harder on the throttle just yet. Unfortunately the law isn't as simple as allowing highway workers to slap up new signs. A number of studies need to be done to determine where exactly the bump is viable. Armadillos, you have time to hit the gym.
