While all eyes are on the various reveals at the New York International Auto Show, half a world away, a similar event continues in the globe's fastest growing automobile market—China. The latest showcase from the Shanghai Motor Show to steal a bit of the Big Apple's thunder is this pair of special edition Bugatti Veyrons.

The first of the umpteenth "custom" versions is a matte white Grand Sport convertible, trimmed in blue carbon fiber, and matching blue interior. The second, a 1,100hp Super Sport is sculpted of black carbon, with a contrasting cream interior.

It's interesting commentary on the global market to see the duo of super-supercars debut in China, when Bugatti's made zero noise at the NY show. Guess they know who's got the debt, and who's collecting the interest!
