People are fucking stupid. And an app called "Dog Wars" built to operate on Android-powered smart phones proves it. The app allows players to feed, train, and eventually fight digital dogs against one another. Recently, Michael Vick and the Humane Society teamed up to release a statement speaking out against it. "I've come to learn the hard way that dogfighting is a dead-end street," Vick said. "Now, I am on the right side of this issue, and I think it's important to send the smart message to kids, and not glorify this form of animal cruelty, even in an Android app." Especially in an Android app. Ummm...did the makers of this game—a company called Kage Games, for the record—really think this would fly!? That's just dumb, doggy. [via ESPN]
