The last time Michael Vick was on the cover of Madden, things didn't go so well. In fact, he's one of the most notorious recipients of the vaunted "Madden curse." But MV7 contends that he still wants to win the bracket-style EA Sports tournament that's currently got him squaring off against Peyton Hillis (WTF?) in the final round—in spite of the bad luck he suffered the first time around. "I am superstitious," he said recently. "I won't say what kind of superstitions I have, just know I have plenty of them. At the time I was very superstitious. And at the time, I got injured. I broke my leg before the season. But it was God's plan. It wasn't meant for me to be out on the football field that time."
Whatever, dude. All we know is that there are a whole lot of Eagles fans voting for Hillis right now. So don't get your hopes up! [via Philly]
