Larry Bird doesn't give a flying you-know-what what Bill Laimbeer thinks. Okay, okay, so he didn't actually say that. But unlike the former Bad Boy, he did become the latest member of the Derrick Rose fan club last night when he told the Chicago Sun-Times that D Rose is literally changing the game right now with what he's doing on the court. "I think it is the era of the point guard," Larry Legend said. "There are so many good point guards out there. Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, they're all over the place. But Rose is the youngest MVP ever? I mean, that's something."

The only thing Bird thinks Rose still needs to add to his arsenal? "He'll need a rival," he says. We hope you're listening, John Wall. [via Chicago Sun-Times]
