Records are made to be broken, but whether it's motorsports or a hot dog eating contest, winners usually spend more than a few days on top. In the case of Bentley's recent ice-speed record, Nokian Tyres apparently wasn't content in letting them boast bragging rights for long. Not intimidated by the 205.48 mph number-to-beat, the rubber brand threw a set of its Hakkapeliitta 7 studded tires on an Audi RS6. With the winter treads, some aerodynamics, and a few unspecified performance upgrades, team driver Janne Laitinen bested the Bentley with a trap-speed of 206.05 mph.
Watch the run and check back soon to see who'll be on top next week.
